Payment Methods and Insurance Reimbursement
KZ Wellness accepts all major credit cards, including most HSA and FSA cards. Payment is collected at the start of each session, and all clients are required to have a credit card securely stored on file.
As an out-of-network therapy provider, KZ Wellness offers superbills to help you seek insurance reimbursement. If you have out-of-network mental health benefits, we can guide you through the process during your free consultation call. Katie will help you understand what questions to ask your insurance carrier so you can maximize your reimbursement.
How Super Bills Work for Insurance Reimbursement
You pay for therapy sessions upfront, typically at the time of service.
We provide a monthly superbill by email, which includes necessary details like session dates, fees, diagnosis codes (if applicable), and provider information.
You submit the superbill to your insurance company, either through their online portal or by mail.
If approved, your insurance company reimburses you directly based on your specific out-of-network coverage.
Sliding Scale and Accessibility
At KZ Wellness, we believe therapy should be accessible to everyone. That’s why we offer a limited number of sliding scale therapy spots based on financial need and availability. If cost is a concern, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We’re happy to discuss options to find a fee that works for you.
How Often Will We Meet? | Therapy Session Frequency
For the best therapeutic outcomes, sessions typically begin on a weekly basis. Weekly therapy provides consistency and momentum, helping you build a strong therapeutic relationship and make steady progress toward your mental health goals.
Depending on your unique needs, Katie may recommend adjusting the frequency-sometimes more frequent sessions, sometimes less. The goal is to support you for as long as it’s helpful.
Many clients find value in ongoing therapy over months or years, while others take breaks and return when life gets challenging or symptoms resurface. Katie welcomes reconnecting whenever you’re ready.
