My Therapeutic Approach
My goal is to provide a safe, comfortable, and supportive space for open and meaningful conversations. Whether you’re struggling with high-functioning anxiety, ADHD, trauma, or postpartum challenges, therapy is a judgment-free zone where you can bring your whole self- strengths, struggles, doubts, and all.
Together, we’ll uncover what matters most to you and set therapy goals that align with your values and the areas of your life you’re ready to grow or change. As we progress, you’ll gain practical tools and personalized insights to help you manage anxiety, trauma symptoms, and life transitions with greater ease. We’ll regularly check in to celebrate your progress and adjust our approach to meet your evolving needs because your voice and feedback are essential in this collaborative healing process.
These are the evidence-based therapy methods that guide my practice:
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
CBT is a well-researched therapy that helps you recognize and change unhelpful thinking patterns and behaviors. By understanding how your thoughts influence your emotions and actions, you’ll learn skills to manage anxiety, reduce stress, and improve focus and motivation.
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
DBT combines acceptance with change and is especially effective for managing intense emotions, reducing overwhelm, and improving relationships. You’ll develop key skills in mindfulness, emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and effective communication.
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
ACT helps you build psychological flexibility by accepting difficult emotions and thoughts rather than fighting them. Through mindfulness and values-based action, you’ll learn to live a more meaningful life aligned with what truly matters to you.
Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) or “Tapping”
EFT is a gentle, body-centered technique that uses tapping on specific points to calm the nervous system and release emotional blocks. It can be a powerful tool for managing anxiety, trauma symptoms, and emotional overwhelm.
Neurodiversity-Affirming and Trauma-Informed Care - Why It’s So Important
I believe that being neurodivergent—like having ADHD or other neurological differences—is simply part of the beautiful variety of how our brains work. It’s not something that needs to be “fixed.” Instead, I’m here to help you embrace your unique strengths and challenges, and support you in finding ways to thrive that feel authentic to you.
I’m also deeply committed to being trauma-informed. What that means is I understand how past trauma can impact not just your emotions, but your body and sense of self. Trauma can affect how you handle stress, relate to others, and experience the world around you. So, I make it a priority to create a space that feels safe, respectful, and empowering—where you have choice and control in the process.
Together, these approaches make sure that our work honors all parts of you, helps build resilience, and supports real, meaningful growth. Because healing happens best when you feel truly seen and supported.

Outside of the Therapy Space | About Me
When I’m not working, I love to take time for myself and enjoy the little things that bring joy and balance to my life.
I’m a big fan of reality TV-especially anything on Bravo- and often find myself scrolling through TikTok, mixing laughs with moments of inspiration. I love discovering new restaurants around the Hoboken and Jersey City area, while wearing my favorite new pair of shoes as I go.
At home, I share my space with two spooky and goofy, hairless cats named Nelson and Lily. These two have fully embraced their roles as my “behind-the-scenes” support staff during virtual sessions, often making surprise appearances that lighten the mood and bring smiles during our time together.
In addition to these fun hobbies, I’m working on better committing to my own self-care and growth. I’m currently enrolled in a yoga teacher training program, which is helping me stay grounded, build resilience, and continue evolving both personally and professionally. This ongoing journey allows me to bring even more mindfulness, compassion, and presence into our work together.
I believe that sharing a little about myself helps build a genuine connection and creates a safe, welcoming space where you can feel comfortable being your whole self. I’m excited to support you on your healing journey and walk alongside you every step of the way.
